Amsterdam Photo Diary

'Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, but in truth it is a city of freedom. And in freedom, most people find sin.' - John Green

I thought I'd share my photos from my trip to Amsterdam waaay back in April (it feels like YEARS ago already). I love visiting cities and exploring, and Amsterdam was absolutely beautiful. I did fangirl a bit over the fact that The Fault in Our Stars filmed in the city. I went with two of my friends from Belfast, and they had been to Amsterdam before so I was in good company. They knew the best places to go and I had so much fun thanks to them. Cheers Toni and Ruth! ;-)

We did so many things while in Amsterdam; visiting the Anne Frank House, the Museum of Bags and Purses, afternoon tea, cycling around the Vondelpark, scoffing on amazing Dutch mini pancakes, the Red Light District, quirky shops and having far too much food. I quoted John Green above because it's so appropriate - I felt so free in Amsterdam, and so carefree. I want to start making little photo diaries of when I go abroad, so this is my very first one for the blog. Enjoy!

Ah, how I miss you Amsterdam. It's not goodbye, but see you later.
